Insert bearings

Insert bearings are designed to quickly form a support as part of a housed assembly. Their design simplifies shaft fixation and allows ready-made solutions to be used for conveyors, drives, process equipment, and other general-purpose machinery.

Securing the bearing to the shaft

Different designs vary in how the inner ring is secured, the sealing arrangement, and the housing-interface construction. Selection depends on load direction, rotation regime, contamination conditions, and maintenance requirements.

What to determine before installation

  • Shaft diameter.
  • Method of securing the inner ring.
  • Radial and axial load.
  • Rotational speed.
  • Direction of rotation.
  • Contamination conditions.
  • Sealing requirements.
  • Re-lubrication and serviceability.
